7.0/10

I had a mixed experience at Stara Hamburgo Boutique Hotel. On one hand, the location was great, close to everything I wanted to explore, and the spacious room with a living area and beautiful marble bathroom was impressive. On the other hand, I faced significant issues with management's response to my concerns, particularly regarding cleanliness and the uncomfortable air conditioning situation.

Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious and comfortable with a modern design, featuring a separate living area and a lovely bathroom with marble finishes. However, the portable air conditioning unit was quite loud, which affected my sleep.
Service
5.0
While the staff was friendly and tried their best to help, I felt management was dismissive when I raised concerns about my uncomfortable experiences, which was disappointing for a place that claims to be luxury.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location was excellent, as it was close to subway stations and within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
5.0
I found the breakfast offerings rather limited, with few options available that didn't satisfy my expectations for a hotel of this caliber. The a la carte choices weren't up to par either.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities had the basic amenities needed, like room service and dry cleaning, but the Internet was spotty, which was frustrating during my stay.

5.8/10

My stay at Stara Hamburgo Boutique Hotel was quite a mixed bag. I was impressed by the spacious and clean rooms, which offered a comfortable getaway in a bustling part of Mexico City. However, my experience was marred by significant issues regarding cleanliness, particularly an unexpected encounter with bed bugs, which led to discomfort and frustration with the hotel's management. Overall, while the ambiance and location were appealing, the service and specific issues could use considerable improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are large and clean, featuring big windows and a comfortable setting. There was a swamp cooler, which was unusual but manageable.
Service
5.0
The service felt dismissive, especially when I raised concerns about cleanliness. It seemed the staff was not fully equipped to handle the situation appropriately.
Location
8.0
Located conveniently close to shopping, bars, and restaurants, the hotel is also quiet at night, making it easy to relax.
Dining
5.0
Dining experiences varied. While the rooftop restaurant offered a nice ambiance, the food quality often fell short of expectations.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were decent with a rooftop restaurant and available amenities, but they could be better maintained.

I had a pleasant stay at Stara Hamburgo, appreciating the spacious rooms and friendly staff. The location is superb, with easy access to subway stations and restaurants nearby. However, I found the breakfast options a bit lacking and the air conditioning could use some improvement.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms are enormous and comfortable, featuring a separate living room. However, they lack a bit of style for a boutique hotel.
Service
8.0
The staff was really friendly and accommodating, though sometimes they seemed overwhelmed and could have been more attentive, especially during breakfast.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a great area, close to subway stations and plenty of restaurants, which made it easy to explore the city. It felt safe to walk around, even in the evening.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was average with a limited selection; the a la carte options didn't impress me much. Dinner at the bistro was just okay, so I chose to eat out nearby.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the rooftop bar and library were nice touches. However, the gym was basic and faced construction next door, which took away from the experience.

6.2/10

My stay at Stara Hamburgo was a mix of highs and lows. While the location was fantastic, allowing easy access to nearby neighborhoods, the quality of service and the facilities left much to be desired. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the erratic housekeeping and issues with breakfast really impacted my experience. 😞

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious and clean, featuring beautiful design elements. However, inconsistent housekeeping sometimes left me short on essentials.
Service
5.0
Service varied greatly; some staff were friendly, but I encountered disinterest and a lack of assistance from others. The concierge's inability to help with local dining reservations was particularly disappointing. 🔒
Location
8.0
The location is excellent, close to Zona Rosa and easy to explore both Roma Norte and Condesa. Despite its central position, it was surprisingly quiet at night.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was inconsistent in quality, with old or poorly prepared food on some days. The confusion around menu items made the dining experience frustrating.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel had a modern lobby and offered some nice features, the erratic housekeeping and lack of basic supplies overshadowed those strengths.

My stay at Stara Hamburgo Boutique Hotel was quite the mixed bag. While I loved the spacious rooms and elegant decor, I faced a lot of issues with service and amenities that I really didn’t expect. The location was great for exploring, but the overall management and certain facilities left a lot to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious, thoughtfully divided, and included lovely balconies; however, the air conditioning was a portable unit that was way too loud and disruptive.

The location was perfect for my needs, making it easy to explore nearby shops and eateries. It’s also a convenient spot for driving around the city.
